Happy Saturday

 Hey all again the last 2 weeks have been crazy busy with the weather, and dr's appt.

It is spose to storm over night again 1st time since 2019 that all of OK is drought free.  This week Tuesday I started going to a small group bible study with my sister n law and niece, it was so much fun, we had dinner (Mexican food) and a wonderful study.   I will say the fellowship was awesome, and could tell that the Holy Spirit was present.    I miss my church in KS  at times like this.   I am not sure if I am in the right place or not, so if you pray please pray I receive God's guidance.

God has brought someone into my life I never thought I could find love and happiness again after Gary *gator* passed away.  I will disclose more at a later date

Happy Saturday all.   Sorry I have been away again.  Had 2 weeks with Dr. Appts every other day, having a blow out one day, 1 week later somebody broke the valve stem on another tire.  God had his angels of protection and His hand on me when I had the blowout as it was the front drivers tire, no damage to my vehicle, was on the turnpike where posted speed was 80

I got new glasses, I have always thought cat eye frames were the cutest. Found even in my favorite color.
 

My friend made this cute tag for me she hangs out on my email  :) However she maybe getting another home here on bloggie world.

I had great news from my pulmonary function test, Dr said as along as my asthma is controlled he can keep me on my inhalers I use now.  Which is God is healing me, 3 yrs ago I couldn't even hold my breath for 10 secs this year I got right at 30 secs.  

We got a break from all the flooding around but have a possibility of 7 1/2 " more rain over the next 10 days.

staying put / moving on

 Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.

Sometimes we live in the same place where we were born and remain there all of our lives.

Sometimes we move away and never come back because of jobs, marriage, circumstances of all kinds.

Sometimes we choose where we will live and we have definite reasons for staying there even though we might be far from family.

1. Are you far from family and if so why? Would you like to have them closer and have you discussed that with them?  I live 20 miles from *opposite directions* from both brothers, and both nieces.   I have cousins  all over the United States.   I am closer to my family than 3 yrs ago.

2. How did you come to live in the state you are in? How about the city/town.

  I was born and raised in OK, have lived in TX, CA, and KS always returned back  to OK  The town that I live in is where I lived as a child.

3. What good things keep you living where you are? Being close to family and living in a small rural town.

What's good about your state and town?  OK is known for OIL, My town is the hay capital of OK and means Black Fox in Cherokee    OK over all is still a how ya doing kind of state.

4. What things might convince you to move to another state or just another town?  It wouldn't take much persuading for me to move back to South TX *Corpus Christi, to be exact*  that was one of the happiest times of my life.   My nieces and great nephews and niece keep me parked here

Home Where the Heart Is

Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.   

This week let's talk about home or the house in which you grew up.   

  1. What do you think of this picture.. the staircase.   I absolutely love this staircase 

  Do you like how it looks?  YES, it reminds me of my grandparents home                                       

  Does it say "home" to you?  YES I could call it home easy

  Would you like something that looks like this?  YES this era homes were my fav

2. Did you love growing up in your family home?   I did I had the best parents ever

 Could you live in a house like that today?  I could if things work out I may be getting my childhood home back.

3.  What did your bedroom look like when you were a teen?  I had posters of all my favorites, had vintage furniture decorated with flowers *Kinda like the pic*

4.  What kind of vibes or atmosphere do you like to foster in your home today?  Sophisticated, homey?  I love the homey look, more like the farmhouse look

Tuesday 4 Spring has Sprungt

 

Spring has Sprung

Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4/

Spring has sprung as they say and sights and sounds of winter have given                    way to those of springtime. With each season even the feel of the sun and                   wind changes and people may also have a change of attitude or a                             change of heart.

1/ Many of my neighbors have chickens.  Have you ever raised them for                    fresh eggs or is the grocer your go to for them? Also.. would the sound                            of a neighbor having them bother you?   I grew up on a farm,  we raised                         chickens *for eggs and meat* cows *for milk and beef* sheep etc.                                  no having chickens wouldn't bother me ...I Still live in the country

2.  How does the change in seasons effect you personally? Are you                           happier in some seasons , do allergies get to you, do you perk up                                     or down due to weather?  A) the season change sometimes effects my                              arthritis.  B)  I love the spring and fall allergies are really bad in the spring                  with all the new grass growth, trees budding  I love the warm sunshine                          I do suffer from low vitamin D in the winter time.  When it is dreary gloomy                cold I do have that tendency to get down.

3.   This week our youngest family member is in France.                                                She will see Paris, Provence, the Riviera, all very exciting for                                             a young teen.    Most of us don't ever do anything that big..                                          .but even the smallest things can have a big effect on  us.                                            What experience  do you think stands out  most for you in your memory?                          Going to TX to visit my family,  then when I moved to TX was lucky enough                 in 2003 to get to go to Mexico it was very cool and way different.  My big                     thing as a teen was going to church camp 200 miles from home

4.  What do you look forward to in each of the year's seasons?                                            Spring time I love all the new beginnings, Easter is  big thing to look forward to summertime so that I can go  trodding thru the natural                                               spring fed creeks,                                                                                                                    fall I love when we  get rain at the right  time so that the trees turn colors,            Thanksgiving I love                                                                                                                wintertime  if   we get snow I love the cleansing that it gives, Christmas
