I am back

Hey my bloggy friends sorry I was away for a while again.

Christmas Day I had a bad fall, was down almost a week

January the 5th I got bronchitis

January 14 somebody stopped in front of me, I rear ended at about 6 miles per hour                                  no biggie, so I think.

January 15th I couldn't hardly get out of bed, or walk, called my dr  they couldn't get                               me in until the 19 by time I get to the dr I was walking with a cane                                                            He gave me prednisone to help with the inflammation, yes it helped.  By day 2  I was feeling                   a little better.  Day 4 comes and the pain was so bad from the sciatica all I could do was cry.

Dr, orders exrays and PT  have 3 bulging disc along with 3 degeneration disc.                                            Go to first PT on Friday feeling fine the stretches the PT did felt good, I did my home                               exercises,  My next appt was for the following Friday,  Thursday I came down with                                     the 24 hr stomach bug, cancel PT.  Fast forward to Mar 3

I start sneezing. coughing (Oh great, allergies)  I had a 6 month routine visit, he noticed my                     coughing, confirmed it is cedar fever, I get yearly.                                                                                       This is Bible Study night, by time I got home from the dr I was beyond sick.

Laryngitis set in almost 3 weeks, took almost 2 weeks to quit the coughing.

Fast forward to April, I am feeling better yay.  Straight into storm season we go.                                         Now that I am a certified storm spotter I have to help the chasers.  OK weather has been                         totally crazy this whole month, already more tornadoes than a whole season.

I know that my Redeemer
lives, and that in the end
 he will stand upon the
earth.

New Year

Today's Bible verse often varies by source, but popular choices for January 16, 2026, include Zephaniah 3:17 (God's joy and quiet love) or verses from the daily readings like Mark 2:1-12 (Jesus' authority to forgive sins) or 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (Love's patient nature). Many translations emphasize themes of God's presence, love, and strength, like "Fear thou not; for I am with thee" (Isaiah 41:10).

Where has time gone? How can it already be 1/2 thru January?

In November I met with my new cardiologist, I really like him,  heis very thorough, and seems to care what is going on.

Dr ordered EEG and cardiac MRI went thru this test, praise the Lord my heart looks fantastic.   Further testing including today a cardiac nuclear stress test. I just received the test results ....

The most wonderful news ever!!  Praise the LORD my heart is healthy and no sign of  any blockages or abnormalities, regular or under stress.  I had a heart attack back in 2019, and was told I had CHF Congestive heart Failure, this Dr, has not found any indication.

Thank you Jesus for the healing power that you have given to me and the miracle that has happened.

Sunday 113025

  • Jeremiah 33:3: "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know". This verse emphasizes that God is available and wants to communicate with you.
This is one of my favorite verses:   I call it GODS telephone line

Today, I am thankful not to have to be outside it is 37 feels like 20 burr.    I am also thankful that I finished my thankful month, yes I got behind but I got it done.

What are you thankful for today?

How is the weather where you are?

Saturday 112925

  • Titus 2:14: Jesus "gave Himself for us"—not only to redeem us, but to form us into a "people zealous for good works".
Today I am thankful for HEAT, this morning it was 57 by time I went to town to get propane and groceries the temp had dropped 15* in an hour and half.  The heat sure felt nice, first time this year of having to turn it on.

Friday 112825

  • Isaiah 1:18: "Come now, & let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool".
Today I am thankful for the time spent with my family on Thanksgiving day.   I love how the LORD has been working with all of us.   Four years ago, my sister n law and I couldn't hardly stand each other, we sat at the hospital the day my mom passed and worked out our differences.   Fast forward to now, my brother and Sis n Law has both found the LORD and we are all what family should be now, friends not enemies

What are you thankful for?

How has God worked in your families lives?

Today I am thankful for Thanksgiving, and getting to spend time with both
my brothers                           sister in law, nieces, nephew and all the littles, the food was phenomenal.

James 1:17: "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows".
