Happy Monday 4725

I pray you all had a blessed weekend, here Friday, Saturday woke up to severe thunderstorms, this am early it sleeted and snowed,  mother nature has lost her mind.  Tonight is spose to be  in the low 30 freeze warning big time. :(   Have a full week  This week, on Tuesday I am hoping to go to see the Tulips in full bloom.  Wednesday I have a much needed eye appointment, Friday one of my friends is hopefully coming to spend the weekend with me

My daffodils all bloomed this year *2nd yr of planting.

The Grape Hyacinth are so pretty, I just plated these last year (I am afraid they may get frost bitten tonight, they are bulbs so I am hoping they are ok.

Today's Verse for Monday, April 07

John 14:27
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let
your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

  1. Your daffodils and Hyacinth are so pretty. I hope the cold weather doesn't hurt them. We can't grow daffodils here, and I wish we could. We do see a lot of hyacinth on the ponds. There are some that are invasive and they can take over the pond and clog them up, so they aren't always welcome, even if pretty. Thank you for your kind and helpful comments on my blog regarding the kitties and duck situation. I wish I had you close to help me with these kitties, especially when the kittens come. I am absolutely ignorant of such things and am very concerned for their safety here on our porch. I can't bring them inside as we really don't have a good space for them and the cat has not been trained to a litter box, although I think she would figure it out, but hubby says no to bringing them inside, so I really can't. I know they are smart animals and will figure it out. I probably just need to stay out of the way! LOL. I hope your weather calms down soon. There has been so much devastation out in your part of the country lately. Praying!!!

  2. Thank you for stopping by! Cats will learn to use a litter box they are very smart yes. Mama kitty will take care of the babies and those ducks better watch out once she has them. Like I said maybe put a box with some old towels or clothes in it ....keep putting her in it so she will know its her nesting place, when you put her in it the first time pet and tell her its her place for her babies, she will understand. You don't now how much I wish I lived in a warmer climate. We have had wild fires, tornadoes, flooding and February weather in April.
