Today I am thankful for getting phone calls from friends and family, who call
just to see how I am doing
I have reconnected with a friend since 1997 ish she moved to Arizona in 2000, me
moving to Texas in 2001 we always stayed in touch,
now she lives 20 miles from me
with her husband, daughter and 2 beautiful grands.
few months, 1 thing is for sure there is never a dull moment,
We have had so much fun the last

I just love and adore your grands.

How is God directing and leading you?
So wonderful to reconnect with an old friend! That is always a blessing! I am thankful for my family and church and these beautiful fall days we are having here right now. How is God directing and leading me? That's a good question...and there are days that I wonder about that. I'm trying to reach out more to my neighbors and people in our church who are hurting, but I don't really have a lot of "free time" that I can do much outside of our own home with my hubby. I am thankful for our own health being better, and I pray it will stay that way. When you reach your mid and late 70's , you really begin to realize just how much each day is a gift from God. Thank you for this thoughtful post.

I am thankful for you and your husbands health as well, I remember mom n dad were always healthy till they hit 82 to 84 then it seemed like the dr's visits came sooner, er ect. God has been leading me helping me get rid of my fears and anxieties about different aspects in life, He has really been dwelling in me that I need to fully trust him DAILY
