Spring has Sprung

Spring has sprung as they say and sights and sounds of winter have given                    way to those of springtime. With each season even the feel of the sun and                   wind changes and people may also have a change of attitude or a                             change of heart.

1/ Many of my neighbors have chickens.  Have you ever raised them for                    fresh eggs or is the grocer your go to for them? Also.. would the sound                            of a neighbor having them bother you?   I grew up on a farm,  we raised                         chickens *for eggs and meat* cows *for milk and beef* sheep etc.                                  no having chickens wouldn't bother me ...I Still live in the country

2.  How does the change in seasons effect you personally? Are you                           happier in some seasons , do allergies get to you, do you perk up                                     or down due to weather?  A) the season change sometimes effects my                              arthritis.  B)  I love the spring and fall allergies are really bad in the spring                  with all the new grass growth, trees budding  I love the warm sunshine                          I do suffer from low vitamin D in the winter time.  When it is dreary gloomy                cold I do have that tendency to get down.

3.   This week our youngest family member is in France.                                                She will see Paris, Provence, the Riviera, all very exciting for                                             a young teen.    Most of us don't ever do anything that big..                                          .but even the smallest things can have a big effect on  us.                                            What experience  do you think stands out  most for you in your memory?                          Going to TX to visit my family,  then when I moved to TX was lucky enough                 in 2003 to get to go to Mexico it was very cool and way different.  My big                     thing as a teen was going to church camp 200 miles from home

4.  What do you look forward to in each of the year's seasons?                                            Spring time I love all the new beginnings, Easter is  big thing to look forward to summertime so that I can go  trodding thru the natural                                               spring fed creeks,                                                                                                                    fall I love when we  get rain at the right  time so that the trees turn colors,            Thanksgiving I love                                                                                                                wintertime  if   we get snow I love the cleansing that it gives, Christmas

Always love to see Old Glory waving in the breeze no matter the situation

The tulip is pretty cool I bet it is beautiful now.   

The metal sunflowers were very cool, the wind caught it just as I took a pic and it started spinning.

 I pray you all had a blessed weekend, here Friday, Saturday woke up to severe thunderstorms, this am early it sleeted and snowed,  mother nature has lost her mind.  Tonight is spose to be  in the low 30 freeze warning big time. :(   Have a full week  This week, on Tuesday I am hoping to go to see the Tulips in full bloom.  Wednesday I have a much needed eye appointment, Friday one of my friends is hopefully coming to spend the weekend with me

My daffodils all bloomed this year *2nd yr of planting. 

The Grape Hyacinth are so pretty, I just plated these last year (I am afraid they may get frost bitten tonight, they are bulbs so I am hoping they are ok.

Thankful Thursday 4325

 Happy Thursday all  

How is it already April 3?  time is flying by

last Friday was the 4 year anniversary of my Gator passing I sure do miss him

I have lots to be thankful for this week

    My Salvation, the love of my heavenly Father that he is always with me

    that these crazy storms have passed us by, I do not think I could have handled 80 mph winds.

    a/c and heat for each day depending on that day

    Food in the cabinets and fridge.

    the wild fires have all been put out here due to the rain *thank you LORD*

    meeting new friends 

       PRAYING FOR

        the storms that are coming the next few days dissipate

        Some of our church members are entering their last journey in life

        this am I almost fell and think I pulled my hamstring....boy does this hurt,  I proclaim through Jesus  stripes that I am healed, he said name it and claim it.  I am believing in complete healing

        my cousin who is having a major surgery (9 hrs. minimum) she has a tumor that has attached to all of her organs but her heart.  

        Praying for our country 

        We need a nations revival 

THANK YOU JESUS for all your blessing every day of our lives.

Tuesday 4 Hard Working Women

 

Hard Working Women

 Well, it's good to see you back here at Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.  

Whenever I write Tuesday 4   I will inevitably hit the 5 instead of the 4. 

 Oh well... Let's talk about Moms and Wives and other  unpaid domestic servants.

1. Have you ever found yourself in the same position as this lady?    I have yes How did you feel about it? just doesn't seem right

2.. Women do the cooking, the cleaning up and the organizing while the rest of the family reap the rewards of that.. is it fair?  Not at all, but God gave us women that ability to do things in love

3.  Vacations at air b&bs or rental homes often mean Mom does all the work.  What kind of holiday or vacation would be most restful for you?  One that came with a maid :) so mom can relax too

4.  In Proverbs 31, the wife is married to a very prominent man in town.  She runs the house, has a cottage industry, owns vineyards on her own and buys and sells real estate.   

What kind of woman are you? I am now disabled but do find rewards in helping others  Do you hold a job.. do you do the housework.. do you find rewards in service to others or do you find it can be wearing on  you or perhaps a little bit of both.    I did all the housework when I did work a full time job I really enjoy doing things that help others

What  earthly rewards do you get out of  the life you are living?  Knowing that Jesus put us on earth to love our neighbors, to me that is helping any way we can, preparing a meal, even just to check on each other.  For me, I feel good when I can do something nice for someone, truthfully though it isn't about me.
